Our modern facilities encourage you to be innovative and visionary, and provide the right environment for you to hone your craft and learn about the art form you are specialising in.

Extensive performance opportunities
Much of the success of our music and theatre courses is due to the extensive performance opportunities you will have to work alongside guest artists and leading industry professionals in fully-staged productions and ensembles. When you graduate, you will have the advantage of having already developed networks with professionals in your chosen field.

Connected with industry
Our courses are regularly monitored and updated to ensure they remain in line with current industry practices. CQUniversity’s creative, performing and visual arts academic staff are often still contributing to, and working within, the industry.

Along with professional training in a range of arts practices, these courses allow you to experience two and three dimensional art forms such as painting, digital imaging, glasswork, jewellery and more.

Completing a Drama major will provide you with extensive studies and training in the craft of acting and allow you to acquire skills in voice and movement.

Music Theatre

The Music Theatre major has a strong practical focus and offers you intensive technical training in singing, dancing and acting, which will equip you as a professionally acknowledged ‘triple threat’ performer.
