We are committed to providing high quality, industry-aligned courses at affordable fees across all study levels from vocational right through to research higher degrees. Our courses are regularly reviewed by experts to ensure they stay fresh and relevant.
We have three intakes per year in March, July and November. Our November intake (Term 3) is not compulsory- just another option for you to fast track your study and get into the workforce sooner. Over 100 courses are available on-campus with a big number available fully online so you can complete your study in your home country at your own pace.
Pathway Options
Wherever you are in life, we want to make sure we provide the study flexibility and pathway options you need to excel in your study and career aspiration.
Academic pathway
SUN (Start Uni Now) allows high school students to commence online study in your final years to prepare for the transition to university to gain an insight into university life, understand the expectations of studying at a tertiary level and get a head start with your future career.
A number of our diplomas in arts, business, digital media, IT and project management provide guaranteed pathways into the second year of related CQUniversity undergraduate degrees.
If you have a diploma qualification equivalent to an Australian diploma with minimum two years relevant experience, you may also be eligible to gain entry to our masters degree.
Other available pathway options include recognition of prior learning (RPL) credits and articulation arrangements.
Research pathway
If you are interested in a research higher degree, but either don’t meet the entry requirements or would like to hone your research and investigative skills prior to starting your research studies, you could consider applying for our Graduate Certificate in Research.
English pathway
If you don’t meet the minimum English requirements or you would like to improve your English language skills prior to starting your university degree, you can study an English course at our dedicated CQUEnglish Language Centre, and transition smoothly into your university studies.
CQUniversity prepares you with the English language skills to suit your purposes. Our four CQUEnglish Language Centres provide excellent, affordable English language courses at various levels in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
