Our pathway options include certificates and diplomas, as well English language courses offered by our CQUEnglish Language Centres located in Brisbane, Melbourne, Rockhampton and Sydney. These pathways prepare you both academically and personally for university studies and your future career.

Completion of selected diploma courses will provide pathways into the second year of the related bachelor courses. Examples include Diploma of Digital Media, Diploma of Information and Communications Technology and Diploma of Project Management.

We also have partnerships and articulation arrangements with selected external providers in Australia and overseas. If you already hold a qualification from one of our external providers, you may use your qualification to gain entry into selected courses at CQUniversity.

Credit transfer

If you have previously studied at another institution, you may be eligible for credit, also known as recognition of prior learning (RPL), credit exemption and advanced standing. This will reduce the number of units you need to complete to gain your qualification.
