SCHOLARSHIPS AND FUNDING

CQUniversity offers a range of scholarships and funding to make a quality education accessible to all and those who may not otherwise have the opportunity. Every year we provide approximately AU$12 million to support international students to reach their full potential and build on their education aspiration.

The below scholarships are available to international students. All scholarships are subject to terms and conditions meet eligibility criteria. You must meet eligibility criteria and enrol in a relevant course at a CQUniversity campus in Australia.

Eligibility criteria Attained an overall grade of 65% or equivalent in most recent studies; or minimum GPA of 4.9 (7 point scale); or minimum GPA of 2.6 (4 point scale with a minimum pass of 2) Completion of most recent studies Meet the MORA eligibility requirements on the MORA website, be a citizen of Indonesia, apply for a CQUniversity Australia research higher degree, meet the academic requirements for entry to CQUniversity Australia and be offered a place in the course, commence full-time enrolment as an onshore international student at CQUniversity Australia People from developing countries who will undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian institutions.
  • Attained an overall grade of at least 65% or equivalent in your most recent studies.
  • The scholarship is not transferable to other campuses.
  • You must remain enrolled at Rockhampton.
  • You must maintain a valid Student Visa for the duration of your scholarship.
  • You must maintain ongoing residency in the regional area where your study is based, for the duration of the scholarship.
  • Submission of a 500 word study statement at the time of application.

2020 BURSARY OFFER FOR FUTURE STUDENTS

To provide additional financial assistance to our students, we have put in place an Early Bird concession for our international students who accept their offers for Term 2 (July) and Term 3 (November) by the cut-off dates and meet all conditions listed in their offer letters. The concession provides each student with a reduction of A$1 000 on the first term fee stated in their offer letter. So, if you’ve been thinking about studying at CQUniversity, apply now to ensure you will be able to take advantage of this concession.

The 2020 cut-off dates for applicants to accept theirs offers are: 12 June for Term 2 start and 9 October for Term 3 start.
