Metropolitan Campuses

The sporting and cultural city of Australia. Conveniently located opposite Southern Cross train station, our Melbourne campus offers students the best of everything: shopping, free inner-city public transport, nightlife, laneway streetscapes and cultural festivities.

The campus boasts modern lecture theatres, engineering, health and IT labs, CQUEnglish Language Centre, Green Hub and free laptop hire.

The campus offers students state-of-the-art facilities and study areas in the heart of Western Australia’s capital.


Home to the iconic Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and iconic beaches with campus only a short walk away from Darling Harbour.

Our Sydney campus offers a large selection of courses for our diverse student cohort including one of four CQUEnglish Language Centres.

Regional Campuses


Located in the agricultural belt of Queensland, our Bundaberg campus makes it an ideal setting to study agribusiness, horticulture and aviation.

The campus boasts multimedia and sound studios, clinical nursing and scientific labs, interactive electronically transmitted lectures to integrate with other campuses, and an off-campus aviation hangar.

Our Cairns campus boasts modern study and recreational spaces including engineering labs, paramedic, nursing and exercise and sport science labs and creative and performing arts studios.

Cairns is a perfect gateway for students to explore World Heritage wonders including the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest.


The Gladstone area is a region of diversity – tourism, community and industry co-exist in harmony, retaining an agreeable lifestyle and environment balance. Our picturesque Gladstone Marina campus is located next to the harbour with an active sporting community; and houses the University’s Engineering and Environment Management Complex dedicated to engineering research and training.


We have two campuses in Mackay: Ooralea and City.

Our resort-style Mackay Ooralea campus boasts modern teaching facilities, a student residence, specialised sports precinct and the internationally regarded Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music, perfect for performing arts students.

Our Mackay City campus delivers vocational courses with onsite training facilities in hospitality and nursing.


Noosa is situated on the edge of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, making the campus an excellent place to study conservation and the environment.

The campus offers courses in arts, business, education, engineering, sciences; and practical learning is delivered through on-site clinical laboratories and collaborative learning spaces.

The coastal community is known for its surfing, beaches, restaurants and national parks.


We have two campuses in Rockhampton: North and City.

Our main campus, Rockhampton North has all the facilities and services one can expect from a renowned university. Study in over 30 academic buildings including engineering and health precincts, sporting facilities, CQUEnglish Language and IELTS Test Centre, a student residence and a multi-faith centre.

Our Rockhampton City campus is the hub for vocational delivery with ‘live works’ training venues for hospitality, commercial cookery, nursing and business administration.


Located on the banks of the Ross Creek in the CBD across two buildings. The modern facilities contain a dedicated clinical skills lab for nursing and paramedic science and IT hub.

Townsville is the largest tropical city in northern Queensland, approximately four hours driving distance south of Cairns. The region is home to scenic rainforests and unspoilt beaches; and a gateway to the delightful Magnetic Island, the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsundays.
